From September 2005 until September 2007, a webcam transmitted images of Loch Faskally, Perthshire, Scotland from the FRS Research laboratory, Faskally [...more].

This webcam harvested images pixel by pixel, second by second and day by day over the course of two years. Each image was collected from top to bottom and left to right in horizontal bands continuously, marking visible fluctuations in light and movement throughout the day and archived at two hour intervals. A selection of these images are displayed in the archive section of this website.

glenlandia was intended to be viewed full screen and a display application enabled it to be transmitted live to galleries as well as individual viewers computers simultaneously.

glenlandia was commissioned by Iliyana Nedkova for Horsecross in collaboration with Film and Video Umbrella for the launch of the Threshhold artspace and the opening of Perth's new Concert Hall.
